The Negresco is an iconic Riviera hotel constructed in 1913 featuring over 6000 works of art, set in an elegant palace on the Promenade d’Anglais in Nice.

Jeanne Augier purchased Le Negresco in 1957 and turned the Palace into a mythic gathering place for high society and chic evenings.  From the painter Dali, Princess Grace of Monaco, the Beatles, Louis Armstrong, to Elton John… she personally greeted celebrities and started a collection of valuable artwork and furniture.  Today, it is not rare to run into a celebrity enjoying a discreet summer stopover on the terrace at 37 Promenade des Anglais and the Negresco houses over 6000 works of art.
